ATW:Editor applications

We are happy to welcome new editors to our cause. Please consider joining us!

Before you apply

Editors are required to participate in good faith according to the policies of this wiki. Please review these policies in detail before making your application. Importantly, all editors are required to self-identify as antifascist. Otherwise, we welcome editors from all walks of life.

It is important to understand that being an editor on this wiki is a risky choice which may threaten your safety. We document and expose hateful, violent ideologies and the people who promote them. This will make you a target.

During the application process you will be asked to disclose your real-life identity to the bureaucrats who will be reviewing your application, a small group of trusted editors chosen to evaluate applications. This is an important step to prevent abuse and infiltration, and to establish your background as a real person who lives according to the values of ATW. At the end of the application process you will be given a list of randomly generated pseudonyms to choose from. All editors are required to use their assigned pseudonym and must take care not to reveal their public identities in the course of their work.

Applying to join

Prospective editors will apply for an account by email. Please include the following information in your application:

  1. The full name you use in public life (not necessarily your assigned name)
  2. Your reason for joining us and how you want to contribute
  3. Your acknowledgement that being an editor on this wiki may be dangerous
  4. Useful references to back up your antifa credentials, such as your social media accounts
  5. If applicable, personal references from existing editors

Send your application to antifatechwiki@posteo.net. We're looking forward to it!
